Arguably the greatest driver of his generation, Michael Schumacher competed in Formula One® between 1991 and 2006, and again between 2010 and 2012. He raced for Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari and Mercedes, amassing 68 pole positions, 77 fastest laps, a record 91 race wins, and seven World Driver's Championships of which two were with Benetton and five with Ferrari.
Presented in this print is Schumacher's first Ferrari Formula One® car, 1996's F310. After back-to-back championship wins in 1994 and 1995 with Benetton, 1996 proved to be more challenging with Schumacher proving to be more talented than the car. Despite winning three races in Spain, Belgium and Italy, and gaining podiums in five other races, reliability proved to be an achilles heel and the Ferrari was soundly beaten by the Williams FW18 driven by Damon Hill, 1996's World Drivers' Champion, and Jacques Villeneuve.
