Le Mans 1953
Into The Night
Le Mans 1953 saw a return to form of the Jaguar XK120-C, commonly known as the C-Type, at Le Mans after a disappointing '52 race where the three entered cars retired.
C-Types finished first, second and fourth with Duncan Hamilton and Tony Rolt taking the honours in the number 18 car. That car is celebrated in this print with the night sky shown as it appeared over the Mulsanne Straight on the 13th/14th June 1953.
