A Golden Age
Developed for 1958, the Lister-Jaguar 'Knobbly' integrated the 256BHP 3.4L Inline-Six and four-speed manual transmission from the Jaguar D-Type into an aluminium body designed and formed by Lister. The car was christened with the affectionate nickname 'Knobbly' due to the preponderance of bulges emanating from the Lister's sloping bodywork. 2019 saw an awesome modern interpretation of the Knobbly presented to the public.
The presented artwork is based on a car seen by the artist at the 2016 Silverstone Classic.
